I made some soap cupcakes this Saturday. I wanted to try out a new fragrance that I had concocted  (a mixture of almond and cream cheese) and of course my main goal was to keep the soda ash to 0%. That never happens, but is always the goal. For some reason, no matter the recipe, even if I add beeswax, cover, and spritz with rubbing alcohol, they will ash. They will. It's inevitable. But I decided to make the best of it and make the shade of pink frosting darker to accompany the white on top. I'll be sure to post some pictures of these little beauties in some better lighting tomorrow. The cupcakes themselves smell delightful and I'm so so glad that I finally went and ordered cupcake-sized shipping boxes so I can sell these on Etsy.

P.S. The cupcakes are topped with organic fair-trade poppy seeds and glitter! Totally adorable!
